Dr. Monica Udaykumar is a practicing optometrist with over seven years of experience in San Francisco, Vancouver, and now Toronto. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University and is a member of the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Optometrists. After working for a big-box company for over five years, she left to build a practice where patients' eye health comes above all else — that practice became Lunaris Vision.

Early in her career, she grew passionate about dry eye and the growing need to support patients navigating our increasingly digital world. She believes in cutting-edge dry eye diagnostics and advanced therapies like IPL and Radiofrequency (RF) treatments. Her post-graduate training in Advanced Studies in Contact Lenses allows her to design and fit advanced scleral, RGP, and hybrid contact lenses for patients with irregular corneas, severe dry eye, and complex refractive needs.

Beyond clinical precision, Dr. Monica believes exceptional eye care goes hand-in-hand with exceptional design — which is why she personally curated the clinic's collection of handcrafted eyewear from artisans in Japan and Italy. When she isn't in the clinic, you'll find her exploring Toronto's east end, staying active, or taking classes like woodworking and pottery.

Linda is dedicated to making your eyewear journey entirely transparent and personalized. Blending a keen technical eye with a love for style, she evaluates your face shape, wardrobe, and daily routine to find your ultimate frame.
